What would I do if I had my time again?
Can you relate to this question? I’ve been asking myself this question, which has encouraged me to think my goals and dream. And asking “Am I heading in the right direction to take me to where I want to be?” And this can be a challenging question. Because it makes us tap into a part of our subconscious that can make us feel fear and self doubt.
But on the other hand, it can make a spark in us that allows the self confidence that is already in us to make changes in our life that we desire. Because let’s face it, who wants any regrets in life. When we have the chance to change direction and connect back to where we wanted to be.
I realized pretty late in life that I had a talent of helping other women. Not having the self confidence or self love played a huge part in that. Can you relate?

So what would I do? What would I do If I had my time again.
Well for starters I would have started my Entrepreneurial journey A LOT soon that what I have. I would have shown up earlier and let myself be seen. But hey, 42 is not over the hill right? I’m a big believer that age is just a number. What is most important is how you feel on the inside. And don’t dwell on the fact that you wished you would have done something sooner. I want you to stand up and take control, control the here and now. And not what was in the past.
I would dive in and work with mentors.
This without a doubt has been a defining factor in my journey. Because I am connecting now with some amazing women! Women who have inspired me to reach for my dream and create the life that I love.
And everyone makes mistakes right? But when you find your community of people, you learn the right way. With the right strategies and guidance, anything is possible. Especially when you are gaining the experience to live life doing what you love, and what makes you happy. My recent post gives valuable advice and tools. http://www.kristimaree.com/why-you-should-make-time-for-self-reflection/
I would love to share this beautiful poem with you by Nadine Stair. An 85 year old women from Louisville, Kentucky.
If I had my life to live over again,
I would dare to make more mistakes next time, I’d relax I’d limber up.
I’d be sillier than I’ve been this trip. I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances. And I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would in fact have more troubles, and less imaginary ones. You see I was one of those people who were sensibly sane. Hour after after, day after day.
Oh, I’ve had my moments. If I had to do kit over again I would have more of them. In fact, I would try to have nothing else- just moments, one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
I’ve been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle and a parachute. If I could do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.
If I had to live my life over, I would start earlier barefoot kin the spring and stay that way latter in the fall. I would go to more dances, I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daises.
What would I do if I had my time again? What would you do? Send me an E Mail I would love to hear from you.
