WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS?
When we compare our self to others we give them the opportunity to be in the drivers seat of our behavior. And sometimes it can be something physical like being taller or thinner. But most of the time it the wish to be capable of doing something the other person is doing well.
Comparison puts the focus on the wrong person. We waste precious energy on the the other persons life that we forget about our own precious life. This means we have the need to find out if we are liked and how we measure up against others around us. This is one of the main reasons that we do compare ourselves. But comparing can also stir up a lot of limiting beliefs like feeling unworthy and not good enough. This can be really hurtful and damaging to our mental health. As well as having our own success in life.
HOW TO STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS.
It can be really hard to stop the way you compare yourself to others. But here are some ways that you can try to be more present with you. Here we go..

2 Accept where you are. Be satisfied with where you are right know and know that this is all part of the journey of becoming who we want to be.
3 Realize that you are not perfect. No one is ‘perfect’ because in life there is always room for improvement and growth.
4 Love your past. Even though it may not have been the past you would have chosen for yourself. Let it give you the strength and determination to get to where you want to be.
I hope these ways will give you the encouragement to be proud of who YOU are and not what you think you should be.
I constantly compared myself to others. Wanting to be where they were because I never believed I was capable or worthy enough to carve my own way. And that my life was enough and just as important, and there was room for me to live my passion just as well as everyone else. Let others inspire you with their success, show thanks and gratitude for others success. You will start to see a shift in your own success and life. Because when we love our self we can truly show love for others around us. And live a more happy and successful life.
