Ready to beat the afternoon slump. That feeling of being unmotivated and blah! sinking into sleepiness

Ready to beat the afternoon slump? When it comes to the afternoons, I’m thinking of lying in bed with a nice cuppa. Lately I’ve been feeling so slow-moving. And more than what I normally do! Now I’m guessing that everyone feels sluggish in the afternoons. And definitely less productive once that morning coffee spritz has worn off.

If your having trouble in the afternoons feeling tired and unmotivated. Try these tips to beat the afternoon slump.

SPRAY A HYDRATING FACE MIST. READY TO BEAT THE AFTERNOON SLUMP.

DRINK A CUP OF TEA.

Did you know Tea contains healthy antioxidants and has less caffeine. And having a cup of tea helps prevent that feeling of wanting to take an afternoon nap. Drinking green tea is my favorite and can help reduce the risks of several diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancer. And it’s a good idea to drink 3-5 cups a day. Green tea may also help protect your bones and even keep your smile bright.

GETTING FRESH AIR. READY TO BEAT THE AFTERNOON SLUMP.

I love taking walks around my yard and garden during the day. Working form home it’s important for me to have some fresh air time every day. And I always feel so much better when I do. When we get fresh air it focuses our mind on something else other than our work. And a change of environment will wake the mind up and feel like you have more of a zing! Even just opening a window helps.

USE A DIFFUSER.

And this is one of my most favorite things to do. I also use a humidifier. Some of the essential oils I love to put in the water are:

  • stress relief
  • lavender
  • sleep well

PUT ON SOME MUSIC.

And Music is a must for me. Because It totally changes the mood and helps stop the ringing or beeping of my phone, also the chaos with the kids. I found Spotify has some great playlists to choose from. So go check it out!
