5 healthy morning habits you do have time for. For me my mornings are the most important part of the day. Because how you start your mornings off sets the tone for the day ahead. What you start your day doing will predict how your day is gonna go. Either smooth or stressful. Now I know which one I’d rather choose, how about you?
So don’t be like me and think you have to have some grand routine in place. Because trust me you will never keep up! I concentrated on adapting a routine for me that would serve my personal needs. And I recommend that you do the same. Do what feels good for you and what you need to address in the mornings. It only takes a simple couple of minutes to start your day right and set your mind in the right tone. Then you’ll feel prepared for whatever comes through out the day.
I used to struggle with my mornings, until I found this combination of these 5 things helped me create a more healthier start to the day. And you can do this even before you go to work!! Let’s take a look.
1- Visualize your perfect day.
Something I love to do is sit down, close my eyes and imagine what my day would look like if I accomplished everything I had set to do. It’s important to think about how you could make your day more enjoyable, healthier and of course more productive. Maybe these are things you might imagine?
- Getting up earlier to to be productive in your morning routine.
- Set out your tasks from most important to least to make maximum progress.
- Making sure you eat a healthy lunch to prepare for the afternoon slump. click here to read how to beat the afternoon slump http://www.kristimaree.com/ready-to-beat-the-afternoon-slump/
- Take 5 and step outside for a walk.
- Reach out to the people you want to collaborate with in your business or in your life.
- Do everything else you wanted to get done.
2- The importance of breakfast! 5 healthy morning habits you do have time for.
OK let me ask you, are you one to skip breakfast to save time? Please don’t! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives our body and mind fuel to start the day. Start your morning with a nutritious and delicious breakfast. I love to make sure I have fruit with my breakfast. And i love avocado on toast, this is my favorite breakfast at the moment. It’s important to have enough protein to last you until lunch time.
3- Be sure to do a quick workout. 5 healthy habits you do have time for.
I know I know, this is one we all love to hate right? But please believe me when I say this is how most successful people start their day. But don’t be hard on yourself thinking you have to get to the gym! Just keeping it simple can be just as effective. Things like going for a walk, online fitness classes, And my favorite, doing some simple but revitalizing yoga stretches. How good does it sound to feel like you have already accomplished something before you even start work! Heck yes! Sounds good to me.
4- Drinking 2 glasses of water.
If you are anything like me, when I wake my mouth feels like a dry empty river. So instead of going straight for the E Mails, go and have a slow glass of water and re hydrate your body after sleep. It’s an instant energy fix for me!
5- Stay away from technology! 5 healthy morning habits you do have time for.
