Do you ever feel so defeated and frustrated because you’ve worked so hard, but everything is still the same. And then we begin to blame outside circumstances for the way things are going.
Have you thought about if it was your mindset and actions that were holding you back? Those feelings of feeling worthy or capable you didn’t really believe.
If you are feeling scared and stressed that you will not get to where you want to be. It’s safe to say that your probably dealing with self sabotage. Let’s take a look at what it means, how to start recognizing it and why it happens.
What does it mean to self sabotage? Are you sabotaging your own success?
“Get out of your own way”. “Stop doing that to yourself” Heard these before and wondering what they mean?
SELF SABOTAGE IS WHEN WE SAY WE WANT SOMETHING. BUT THEN GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T HAPPEN.
Thinking about it it sounds so mean doesn’t it. And the sad thing is we don’t even realize we are doing it to ourselves. For me I always blamed my situation for never achieving success. Maybe you think there are a number of certain things in your life are holding you back. I realized I had to take responsibility for my success and my actions, and not place the blame elsewhere.
Let’s be honest. There are several reasons why you don’t feel successful or achieved much in your life. But most of the time it’s your thoughts , mindset and behavior. Are you treating yourself as your own worst rival?
Remember back at school when that one person put you down all the time, made fun of you and made you feel worthless. Well think about this. Do you ever put yourself down in front of friends or family? Are you easily distracted from your work and believe you are not worthy of success.

Why we self sabotage. Are you sabotaging your own success?
Let’s look at it this way. When things are going really good in our lives and we feel good. We begin to question if it’s really true. We start to doubt ourselves and wait for things to go wrong, because we think we aren’t worthy of feeling this good.
When this happens we begin to push ourselves out of our comfort zone where it is safe. And potentially back into bad habits.
How to recognize self sabotage.
We have only a second to decide if it’s self sabotage before we take any action. And the really sad thing is a lot of the time we don’t realize we are doing it. Weather you are constantly comparing yourself to others around you, or doing everything you need to do except what will bring you closer to your dream. We have to be so much more aware of our thoughts and the actions we take. Don’t be afraid to ask yourself if it’s self improving or are you self sabotaging yourself.
The most important thing to raise awareness in to practice mindfulness. To get those thoughts out of your head, journal them down so there not going around in your head all the time. Here is how to start your own journaling practice. http://www.kristimaree.com/how-to-start-a-journaling-practice/
So if you are doing something self sabotaging, STOP. Don’t beat yourself up. Stand up and keep trying. Because you my friend are worthy of all the success and abundance this world has to offer. And don’t let anyone tell you different.
